We are looking for committed, professional people with a positive attitude. Some residential garage door experience preferred. This role will usually be teamed up with a senior installer.  We offer a lot of on the job training and opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Customer service – visiting assigned commercial and residential customers to identify needs and present options for repair and new business, presenting quotes (door type, opener, other features);
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and appearance;
  • Help Senior Installer to diagnose garage door and opener issues, install, and perform other work;
  • Drive company vehicle to pick up materials from vendors and deliver to job sites, driving from job to job;
  • Maintain appropriate inventory on truck;
  • General warehouse and inventory duties;
  • Problem solving;
  • Diagnose garage door and opener issues;
  • Able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs., climb on ladders and complete any other installation activities as required (job can be very physical);
  • Keep job sites clean and properly dispose of materials;
  • Keep truck clean and operational at all times and maintain appropriate inventory on truck;
  • Completion of all forms and documentation in a timely and appropriate manner; and
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers;
  • Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities;
  • Work with other team members to ensure a high level of effectiveness;
  • Communicate issues and successes to appropriate superior(s) in a timely manner;
  • Communicate all information and instructions respectfully; and
  • Follow all regulations and company policies and procedures

Experience:

  • Clean driving record: 5 years (Required)
